The LUG interface was first applied to copper welded steel frame cars and is still loved by retro enthusiasts today. In the 1980s, Italian brand ALAN took the lead in producing carbon fiber casing frames through casing bonding technology. In the mid to late 1980s, well-known brands including LOOK, VITUS, and Specialized successively launched their own carbon fiber sleeve bicycles. In addition, everyone knows that the Tour de France champion Bogacha rode COLNAGO, but it is not necessarily known that COLNAGO started making LUG frames in the early stages of its establishment, and its C-series has always adopted the classic LUG casing design. However, in modern times, the frame of carbon fiber bicycles has become increasingly robust, seeking a balance between structural rigidity and aerodynamic appearance.
